Just to the south of Montclair sits Bloomfield Township where convenience is also a trademark. Bloomfield has three direct exits and on-ramps to the Garden State Parkway, including direct on and off ramps to Route 3 and Route 46. Bloomfield is filled with quaint neighborhoods, all with unique character. Each of these sections is named after their respective high performing elementary schools; Oakview, Brookdale, Demarest, Franklin, Berkeley, Watsessing, and Carteret. In addition, the Bloomfield Historical District comprises the most stately Victorian style homes in town, and the Brookdale section is home to famous Brookdale Park, one of Essex county’s best recreation areas. Like Montclair, Bloomfield has something for everyone and offers some of the best value in the area.
